20th May 2020

Hosted by the Mental Health Foundation, Mental Health Awareness Week 2020 will be running from the 18th to the 24th May.

The theme this year is ‘kindness’, and with the world turned upside down due to the current COVID-19 pandemic this couldn’t be more fitting. More now than ever we need to express kindness to others and also importantly to ourselves. It is okay not to be okay.

The truly unprecedented circumstances we are living in will naturally cause feelings of fear, uncertainty and worry. For some people these feelings of worry may come and go, however for others who may be suffering with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) these fears can cause extreme anxiety.

In support of Mental Health Awareness week our Assistant Psychologist, Lily, has made a help worksheet for those suffering with OCD. Please click the image below to read this!
